Last week i was in sydney for Christmas Comedy Gala shows at the Comedy Store (www.comedystore.com.au). I did four shows (tuesday - wednesday, friday - saturday) doing 10 each. it was the best run of shows I've had in a while. Got some new stuff going and am starting to feel really excited about 2009. Could be a very exciting year.
The shows themselves where of an awesome standard. Greg Fleet was best i've seen and really on top of it. His new stuff is killer. Dave Jory was the utlimate professional and gentleman. Asher is my new fave ( http://www.ashertreleaven.com). Micky D is the best MC to work with.
Also went to the micin hand christmas party (www.amicinhand.com). had too much fun. Jory closing was the highlight. comics have never had so much fun at a comedy show.
Speaking of which Brendan Burns is coming to the store Jan 2009. Anyone in sydney should really check this out. He's a machine of energy.
